OF COUNSEL TERRY AGUILAR
Terry Agulair is Of Counsel for The Law Office of Lucero and Howard. As the former Governor of the Pueblo de San Ildefonso, Terry oversaw the pueblo management of over 70,000 acres and an enrolled population of approximately 850 people. Now, as Of Counsel for The Law Office of Lucero and Howard, Terry combines his experience with public management and Tribal law to better serve the Santa Fe area in complex civil litigation and an increasing government regulatory environment.
Terry graduated from the University of New Mexico, School of Law in 2009. He obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of New Mexico, and is a proud veteran, having served three years in the United States Navy during both Desert Shield and Desert Storm of the Gulf War.
Terry’s experience includes internships in Washington, D.C, with Senator Jeff Bingaman and the Mashantucket Pequot Tribe. Terry has also held additional positions in executive management as the Director of the New Mexico Office of Indian Affairs and the Executive Director for the Eight Northern Indian Pueblos Council, Inc.
Terry and his wife, Sharilyn, have two daughters, Taelor and Taryn Aguilar.
